Ms. Mugwaneza is a financial sector expert having her background with the Rwanda Bankers Association as the Chief Executive Officer which she incorporated and operationalized after her appointment for 9 years and having served as the Country Manager of Transunion Rwanda which is the Rwanda credit reference Bureau. Prior to joining RBA, she served for 2 years as Compliance and Agreement Officer for ACDI/VOCA, a USAID funded project and other 3 years as Internal Legal & Compliance Officer at Rwanda Enterprise Investment Company (REIC), the first local private equity fund in Rwanda which she as well incorporated and operationalized.

She is a Certified Professional Banker (CPB) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from the National University of Rwanda. She is currently completing her MBA in the same University.
She is a mother of 3 (two daughters and a Son).
